File Submission Guidelines – For Printing Jobs
Accepted File Formats:
EPS with fonts converted to outlines/paths
TIFF
PDF with font embedded ( Composite or pre-separated)
Postscript
Source Files in other formats can also be sent including the fonts.
Preflight Checklist :
Please review this list before sending your files for printing.
Check Your Files for color, size, fonts and resolution.
Elements closer than .125" from the edge may be trimmed off.
Make sure your files are not in RGB but converted to CMYK or Grayscale.
Resolution — Images should be 300 dpi/higher.
Do not use JPEG compression on images.
Proof read your work – SGPL will not be responsible for any textual mistakes
Hairlines thinner than 1/4 point size may not show up on your printing.
Front and Back — Save as separate pages or files.
Bleeds — please provide a .125" bleed where required.
Color — CMYK (process colors only)
Make sure the print marks (registration mark, crop marks etc.) are present in the files
In case of spot color please mention the PMS no. & the positions where they have been used.
Please view your file in ' Overprint Preview ' "On" option to make sure there are no hidden objects
In case the files are not imposed please provide us the imposition scheme you would prefer.
Above are the basic checks to be performed. In case of job specific checks we can perform the preflighting at our end as per the job requirements.
